February's Home of the Month winner is....
The Marietta Board of REALTORS would like to congratulate
Isaac and Mya Huffman of Vincent
on being selected as the February Home of the Month winner!
Isaac and Mya hold strong family values and have always envisioned a large family. This house serves as the cornerstone of that aspiration. With its spacious layout and ample room for children, it felt like the ideal choice.
The residence was originally owned by the Lang family and constructed in 1920 as a farmhouse, encompassing numerous acres of land. Today, the home rests on five acres of serene countryside, which greatly attracted Isaac and Mya to what they lovingly refer to as their forever home.
On June 29, 2022, they made the exciting decision to embark on their journey. They have also begun to grow their family with the arrival of their lovely ten-month-old daughter, Eden. The home was nearly move-in ready upon their purchase, but they have made several enhancements to personalize it.
Some of the improvements include a new primary bathroom, new flooring throughout, fresh paint, and a new staircase. Isaac and Mya tackled all the renovations themselves, with help from some family members. When asked about their favorite aspect of the house, they emphasized the importance of "family."
They also emphasized the significance of community and cherished the connections they share with the wonderful residents of the mid-Ohio Valley. They adore their neighbors and the community around them, along with the prospect of contributing to that community with their own joyful family. When asked about the location, Isaac remarked that it perfectly balances tranquility and privacy, while still being close enough to neighbors for friendly interactions. He noted that two of their neighbors are former owners of the house and have been invaluable in answering various questions about the property over the years.
Vincent is fortunate to have wonderful individuals like them calling this place home. Congratulations once again to the Huffmans, and thank you for your dedication and pride in both your home and the community!
